This policy explains what personal information eSolarEdge collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, our advertising, and the calls, texts and emails we send.

01Who we are

eSolarEdge ([Legal business name], "eSolarEdge," "we," "us") is a marketing company. We generate interest from homeowners and set appointments for solar and electrical contractors in the United States. We do not install solar systems or perform electrical work.

We deal with two groups of people:

• Homeowners who respond to our ads or forms and ask to hear about solar or electrical services.
• Contractors and their staff who use our appointment-setting services or contact us about them.

02Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact details, such as your name, phone number, email address and home address.
• Details about your home and project, such as whether you own the home, your average monthly electric bill, your utility provider, roof type and condition, electrical panel size, and the services you're interested in.
• Appointment details, such as preferred dates and times and who will attend.
• Recordings and notes from calls with our team, where permitted by law. We tell you at the start of a call if it is recorded.
• For contractors: business name, contact details, service area, and billing information.

Information collected automatically

• Device and browser information, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed, and the ad or link that brought you to us.
• Information from cookies, pixels and similar technologies, described in Cookies and advertising.

Information from other sources

• Advertising platforms, when you submit an in-app lead form on a social network or search engine.
• Publicly available property information, used to confirm details such as ownership or roof size.

03How we use information

• To contact you about the solar or electrical services you asked about.
• To confirm that a contractor's services fit your home and your needs.
• To schedule, confirm, remind you about and reschedule appointments.
• To run, measure and improve our advertising and our website.
• To provide and bill for our services to contractors.
• To keep records of consent and opt-out requests, prevent fraud, and comply with the law.

04How we share information

With the contractor you agree to meet. When you accept an appointment, we share your name, contact details, address, and the information you gave us about your home and project with the contractor we book you with. That contractor uses it to prepare for and attend the appointment, and handles it under its own privacy policy.

With service providers who work for us, such as call and text messaging platforms, scheduling and customer relationship tools, website hosting, and analytics. They may use the information only to provide services to us.

For legal reasons, when we believe disclosure is required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of people or of eSolarEdge.

In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell personal information to data brokers or list sellers. Some state laws treat sharing information with a contractor or with advertising partners as a "sale" or "sharing." You can opt out of that, as described in State privacy rights.

05Calls, texts and consent

When you submit your information through one of our forms or ads, you agree that eSolarEdge, and the contractor we schedule you with, may contact you at the phone number you provided about the services you asked about. This may include calls and text messages sent using automated technology, and prerecorded or artificial voice messages. Your consent is not a condition of any purchase.

• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help.
• To stop calls, tell the person you're speaking with, or email us.

We do not share mobile phone numbers or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

06Cookies and advertising

We and our advertising partners use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to understand how people use our website, to measure our ads, and to show ads to people who may be interested in our services. These partners may include social media and search advertising platforms.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. You can also limit interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative, and through the ad settings of each platform you use. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, where the law requires it.

07Your choices

• Calls and texts: reply STOP to texts, or ask us to stop calling.
• Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• Appointments: you can cancel or reschedule an appointment at any time by replying to our messages or contacting us.
• Your information: you can ask us to access, correct or delete it by emailing us.

08State privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, Virginia and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and share it.
• Get a copy of your personal information.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Delete personal information we collected from you.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of targeted advertising.
• Appeal a decision we make about your request.

To make a request, email hello@esolaredge.com with the subject line "Privacy request." We will confirm your identity before acting on it, usually by matching the phone number or email address we have on file. You may use an authorized agent, who must show us your written permission. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

09How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, including keeping records of consent and opt-out requests, meeting our obligations to contractors, and complying with the law. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it.

10Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11Children

Our services are meant for adult homeowners and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will give notice as required by law.
